This is a cute card I made for my 4-yr old son to give to his Pre-K classmate for her birthday. It was my first time using the paper piecing technique. It seemed a little more challenging, because i first traced the cut-out girl on top of the Designer series paper (DSP) and then cut it out and adhered to the girl (instead of stamping on it and then cutting it out.)Usually, it works better on open images (at least that's what I have seen.) I enjoyed "dressing" her up. I also added the DSP to the cake. The DSP, ribbon, inks, and most of the cardstock (with the exception of Regal Rose) are retired. I really love the color combo, and if I ever made it again, I can always change up the colors.
